What is love? Can you get it from a bouquet of roses and chocolates? Why are mommies and daddies together while my classmate's parents are not? These are just some of the questions that seem to fluster most moms, especially these Valentine's week, when kids can see the romantic gestures and gifts. Curious at how they answered questions on love and marriage, Moms&Kids asked a couple of celebrity moms "How did you explain the concepts of love and marriage to your kids?" and all agreed that it is not something that you say, but show.
"I don't think I ever truly explained as much as I showed it. My husband and I always tell them that we love them. As for marriage, they see how Jappy and I treat each other, which is with respect, love and affection. I think more than anything that is the best way for them to understand what marriage is about. "
What is love?
"Love is when you care about somebody and want them to be happy. When you love someone, you do your best to make them feel special and let them know why they are important to you. Marriage is when you promise to love someone forever!"
"Love is hugging all the time, the longer the better.
